Barnyard Millet is more of a wild seed rather than a grain. But these seeds are widely used for consumption because of their enormous nutritional profile. The unpolished and unboiled rice is filled with dietary fiber and low glycemic index (GI) which makes it appropriate for people with diabetes. It is also a good source of protein and aids patients with cardiovascular diseases.
Cooking Instructions:
Wash and soak the millet for 6 to 8 hours before cooking.
